New Wave Pier Dog Run: Winter Update
Hope you’re having a great winter
Kona here at the East River Esplanade’s New Wave Pier Dog Run. Seems like the neighborhood has really taken on the new space. It’s a great place to socialize and say hello to other dogs. We already got compliments that the space feels more inviting!
Update: New Doggy Dispensers!
Thanks to the generosity of the team at BondVet, the dog run has doggy dispensers in the run; (3) in the large dog area, (2) in the small dog area. They provided the dispensers and baggies. They were installed this weekend. Give them a try if you’re short on bags. Help keep our space clean!
Calling on Volunteers
Looking for friends of the dog run
For a successful dog run, we need volunteers. It’s simple, reach out to us (email: allkb.nyc@gmail.com), with the subject: “Dog Run Volunteer”. A few of the things we looking for help on:
- The gates are closed and operating properly
- The doggy dispensers have baggies
- The space is relatively clean
We plan on getting more equipment to keep the space clean, and we’re looking for ways we can get a supply of baggies for the dispenser, but for the time being we’re asking if anyone wants to help out!
